Why It Exists
Code loses its context whether it was written twenty years ago or generated last week. When nobody can explain why it exists, even a small change becomes an expensive guess.
What It Does
Code Archaeology reads code and its change context to reconstruct what each important customization most likely does. Each finding keeps its supporting evidence, confidence, and uncertainty visible, then turns that work into an actionable migration or cleanup recommendation.
It currently handles sample exports from major enterprise platforms — ERP, CRM, and service-management systems. For AI-generated repositories, the service applies the same rule: we do not guess who wrote the code; we test behavior, assumptions, maintainability, and risk.

Run It Yourself
A documented self-run release is not public yet. We will publish that path when setup and reproduction are ready for outside teams.
Have Us Do It
We can scope a bounded codebase audit, run the analysis, and hand your team the evidence and cleanup plan.
