Ad Astra Per Aspera. To Boldly Build.

We're a small, Oregon-based, bespoke development consultancy. We build privacy-respecting software for everyday people, and working solutions that you won't find sitting on the shelf.

What we take on

Bring Us the Problem. We'll Work Out What to Build

A System Nobody Fully Understands Anymore

Show us the system that still runs the business after everyone who knew why it works has moved on. We'll map what it does, gather the evidence behind every conclusion, and make it safe to change again.

A Workflow That Outgrew Its Tools

Show us the spreadsheet that has become a database, or the inbox that has become a queue. We'll build the small, sturdy tool that works the way you need it to work.

An Idea That Needs to Become Real

Show us the registration site, the data tool, or the service your customers keep asking for. We'll scope it honestly, build it carefully, and hand it over working.

What We're Actually Doing

Hestia's Creations is a small, family-run company in Oregon — four of us, and no sales team. You talk to the people doing the work.

Right now we're building a private, end-to-end-encrypted courier for moving a web page between your own devices; it's in private beta. We're building a tool that maps undocumented code and keeps the evidence behind every conclusion visible; today it runs on sample exports. And we carry out conservation research for Pacific Northwest species. Alongside that we take on client work that deserves the same care.

We named the company for the goddess of the hearth because that's the kind of software we want to make: the kind that quietly holds a household together. We'd rather earn your trust by working with you than with a sales pitch.

Where we stand

We Are an AI Company

We build toward a future where these tools leave people better off — not people in the abstract, but the specific person sitting in front of the thing we made.

That commits us to saying how the furtherance and development of this technology is being misused as plainly as how it is being used right. The costs are real, they do not land evenly, and we prefer to set them out rather than hope nobody asks.

Our long-term goals are to lower those costs — even eliminate them — by giving everyday people the knowledge to use AI, the smart way, and by getting AI into the hands of everyone.

Where we stand on AI, in full — including what we think should change

A real person reads every message. If we're the right fit, we'll say how we'd start. If we're not, we'll say that too.
